Price increase from July 15th, 2018

During the past weeks there has been a sustained increase in the oil price. In part, this is due to the unstable political situation in the Middle East.
The rise in the oil price has already caused an increase in the price of PET resin and we expect resin prices to rise further in the coming weeks. In addition, extra upwards cost pressure has been caused by very strong global demand for PET resin and the commodity chemicals required to produce it.
The continued increase in the cost of PET resin, leaves us no choice but to increase prices for all HOSTAPHAN® film types by 0.10 Euro/kg for all deliveries from 15.07.2018.
