Matte HOSTAPHAN® polyester films
In many applications silky matte, that is rough and not too shiny, surfaces are desired. To achieve this effect, matte films are employed. They can either serve as surface themselves, remaining in the final product, or can serve as processing film. In both cases a matte surface is the result.

HOSTAPHAN® MK – Highly matte polyester film
This film stands out through two uniformly matte surfaces and strong light scattering effect. HOSTAPHAN® MK is approved for food contact in the EU and the US.

Technical data sheetHOSTAPHAN® MPK – One side matte polyester film with high contact transparency
HOSTAPHAN® MPK has one rough and one smooth surface. This special layer construction provides a matte appearance coupled with clear and high contrast images in reverse printing (good contact transparency). HOSTAPHAN® MPK is approved for food contact in the EU and the US.

Like HOSTAPHAN® MPK, HOSTAPHAN® MPX also has a rough and a smooth surface, but with a different recipe for the matte surface. As a result, the properties of the matte surface are now significantly more constant and reproducible.
HOSTAPHAN® MPX is approved for food contact in the EU and the US.
